The mission of BEST4NY is to encourage Better Education and Smarter Taxation in New York State. This will be achieved by increasing local control over the budgets for NYS school districts, towns, and counties by calling for Mandate Relief to shift financial control from Albany back to local communities. BEST4NY will foster grassroots participation as a counterbalance to special interests.
